It all started when...
TJ was working with his band at the studio when he turned around and noticed that a beautiful girl had joined the party and made herself comfortable on the couch. While he was interested in her presence, he found himself being pulled in other directions, thus ignoring the new girl. According to Hanna (who had just left a horrible date and come at the request of her friend who told her there were some "guys" here she should meet), this frustrated her to no end. Little did TJ know, but he had just played some good game and made her interested. Maybe that was his plan all along...?
Wait, why are you writing this like a romantic comedy? I don't know, I just figured it would make it more engaging (get it!?) *sigh* Okay, but keep it short otherwise no one is going to want to read this. I know! I was getting to the meat of the story! I just know how you can get carried away. It's true. Okay, back to it? Yes, yes, go ahead.
Like I was saying! Hanna was mad that he didn't notice her and another plan for the two to hang out had been set. This time TJ had no distractions of work or music. His friends had shown him pictures of her before the party and he got nervous that she wouldn't be interested in him. Nerves aside, he got to spend a little time chatting with Hanna and was so happy at how easy she was to talk to. But to his surprise, he apparently didn't do as well as he thought and Hanna was yet again frustrated that she may have wasted her time. But something about TJ intrigued her. He was a musician. And bearded. And was playing hard to get.
Hanna had had enough. The morning after the party that TJ had thought he "did so well at," she friended him on a popular social media networking site you can probably just say Facebook Yeah? Oh, okay... Facebook. And little did she know that TJ had logged on that morning to find her and send her a message. He asked her if she wanted to meet and have a date. Ok, so he brought me to a dark, smelly, dive bar on Park Ave. which he claims was to take the pressure off the first-date-vibe. But it worked. Because the two chatted for a few hours and when it became time to go, neither seemed to want to leave. On the train ride home TJ wrote and rewrote a text message to Hanna, trying not to sound too eager. After a while, he just went for it and asked when he could see her again.
It was pretty much from there on that we started seeing each other twice a week for about a month, and then more the next month and before we knew it, we were on a plane to the West Coast celebrating our six month anniversary. Yep, that's right. I knew right from the start that Hanna was the one. She made me feel so comfortable and I always had so much fun when I was with her. I pretty much fell for her immediately.
Six months turned into nine months and Hanna's lease was up, so TJ asked her if she wanted to move in with him and his four legged compadre, Nala. Not wanting to give in right away, Hanna searched for some apartments until she came to the realization that it would probably just be easier to move in together since we'd be spending all our time together anyhow.
Our small one bedroom apartment in Astoria became the place where we grew and learned a lot about each other. We really became best friends. We spent the last three years of our relationship falling deeply in love. Oh, that's way too cheesy. And when I proposed to Hanna in her favorite spot *swoon* I miss London I knew that this was just the beginning of our exciting lives together. Yup!
